At this time of year it is white mulberry (beyaz dut) season in Türkiye, a delicious fruit with excellent health benefits. A jelly (dut pekmezi) is produced from this mulberry, known for its healing power, particularly against anemia.

I've never seen white mulberries, but I remember the purple one we have here- they were very messy (especially for cars) but as kids we used to love to eat them off the tree. My grandfather used to make mulberry wine (I was to yong to ever taste it!)
so those on street, is free to be pick? :-D I would love to do that!
